Pre-Game Senior Recognition:

  • Senior football players, trainers, drill team, cheerleaders, and ROTC members will be honored before the game.

  • Upon arrival, head to the north end of the field to line up.

  • Guardians and players will line up in numerical order by the player’s jersey number.

  • Order: Football players go first, followed by other groups.

On-Field Processional:

  • Guardians will escort their player through the tunnel.

  • A volunteer will give each player a rose to hand to their guardian as they proceed to the 50-yard line.

  • A pre-recorded video featuring each player’s photo will be displayed on the video screen.

  • When your player’s name is announced (only player names will be announced), walk forward down the 50-yard line.

  • Volunteers will be present to help guide you through the process.

  • Important: Since the video is pre-recorded, please ensure you’re in the correct order and arrive on time.

Post-Game Tradition:

  • After the game, senior football players will gather at the north end of the field in their uniforms.

  • Seniors will link arms and walk the football field together for the last time.

  • Reminder: Encourage your player to go directly to the north end after the game rather than the locker room.

  • This is a special and often emotional moment as players, coaches, and parents gather on the field to mark the end of their high school football journey.
